Had a practice today; last one before Saturday's party. We'll be playing four songs: 'All Apologies', 'City of False Light', 'Jenny (867-5309)', and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. 'City of False Light' is our own song. We may do a bit of screeching, banging and twanging at the end, just for the sake of messing around. Ooh, maybe some solos...fun. In any case, when Barry sings 'City of False Light' he sounds like Bob Dylan, minus the rough voice.

Little bit more news; John's dad is generously buying us t-shirts with the Cyanade logo on the front and our names on the back. We can wear them for the party. =)

Right...you need some background for this one. Barry and I have had a sort of ritual since the 5th grade. It's stupid. But Barry always says "What's up?" and I always say in reply "the ceiling". It still gets on his nerves. =) But we decided that should be the name of our first album, although John disagrees because it sounds like Pink Floyd's "The Wall". Seems all the better to me, even if we sound nothing like PF. In any case I drew some cover art for it and scanned it in. Mind, I can't draw, but if we use it, someone else will draw it for us.
